working mom - 2007/01/06 11:20 It would be great to just stay at home and take care of the baby but not all of us are given that privilege. Some of us new mommies have to work considering the high cost of living we have now. It is really hard to leave your baby with a nanny especially if it is your first-born.

Re:working mom - 2007/01/06 11:29 Hi. I'm a working mom and it was really a struggle for me to go on working after I gave birth. However, I am trying to balance career life with being a mom. It is really tiring at times but when I get home all worries and stress fly out of the window when I see my cookie dough smile!

Re:working mom - 2007/01/06 11:36 It is really stressful to take care of a baby, a family at that---and then be efficient at work. Most of the time I really have to work on the double. The secret I guess is knowing your priorities and then being organized. Or else, you would end up in a nut house

Re:working mom - 2007/01/06 11:40 Well, you're right! But you know sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision going back to work even if I already have a child to take care of? I look back and I know that I wouldn't be a very effective mom if i am cooped in the house all day without something for myself. At least after work, I look forward to taking care of my baby and my family. It's fulfillment, I guess.
